Taking Sides is a 2001 film based on a true story of Wilhelm Furtwangler, a musical conductor who had been charged with serving the Nazi regime and was interrogated by the U.S. Army investigator after the second World War. He was questioned by the authority and was asked to justify his participation as an artist at all the functions hosted by the Nazis including Hitler's birthday.
